Francisco Franco took several decisions throught the second world war, the most important decistion due to its impact on society was the decision of being allies secertly with Germany. For example, making Jew name lists for the NAZI's and selling the guns they produced to Germany.

 

 

General Francisco Franco took the decision to send Adolf Hitler a list of all Spanish Jews and Jews who converted into Christianity in order to prevent going to the concentration camps and die. This lead to political problems in Spain due to the diplomats disagreeing with General Francisco Franco and dividing the government. The government was still ruled by Franco but know the diplomats were by their own, this was made in order to save Jews from death, diplomats refugee Jews in Spanish embassies and consulates. Even though Franco later protected Jews from entering concentration camps, the loss of civilians was very high, the number of civilians dead was about 10,000. This decision also lead Spain to economical embargoes due to Francisco Franco helping Hitler eliminate the Jew race at the begginining of the war. This embargoes weren’t totally finished until 1953, and the also were one of the main reasons why Spain maintained isolated for several years.

 

 

The other decision General Francisco Franco took was, producing many guns and selling them in the mayor part to the NAZI's. This lead to great advances in technology of Spain during World War Two, industries started improving their weapons in order to keep selling them, they made them smaller, with more range capacity, etc. This made that the German NAZI’s bought more guns, by the end of the war they ended up selling about 130,000 guns to the NAZI’s.

 

 

In conclusion, Francisco Franco was a very controvertial leader due to many disagreements with himself. He mantained Spain out the second world war in order to recover from the civil war, but he still alllied with the NAZI's. Franco also showed he is controvercial in important decisions, he at first gave the list of Jews to Hitler in order to eliminate the raze, but then he decided to make Spain a country to refugee Jews.
